The Montessori philosophy is a system suitable for all types of children, as it responds to the individual needs of each child.
There are few discipline problems, due to the children's own concentration.

The problems are when a child doesn't have a task that is challenging enough. So the solution in that case is to seize the moment to introduce new ones.

If a child participates inappropriately in a group activity or disrupts the work of his peers, then he or she is separated for a moment and asked to rejoin the group when she or he feels ready to participate again.
No, children don't do what they want, enjoy what they do. In Montessori children actively participate in the process of their learning and integral development. They have initiatives for action, they self-direct with intelligence and choose with freedom. The basis of this system is precisely discipline.

The method Montessori offers a prepared environment that promotes the child's needs for independence, cooperation and learning.
Montessori children are quite adaptable. They learn to work independently and in groups. They have been encouraged from a very young age to make their own choices and to manage their time; they have the ability to solve problems.

They have been motivated to exchange ideas and to discuss their work freely with others, which facilitates good communication in new environments.

The Montessori system, based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, helps the child to create a good self-image and to have the confidence to face challenges of change with optimism.
A Montessori school should have the following characteristics:

1. Teachers prepared in Montessori philosophy and methodology, according to the level they teach, with the ability and dedication to put key concepts into practice.

2. A community between the school and the parents. The family is considered an integral part of the child's development.

3. An environment that is prepared and designed to promote learning in which the child continually strives and joyfully faces challenges.

4. Materials, activities and experiences that promote the child's intellectual, physical, creative, social and independent development.

5. An atmosphere that encourages social interaction for cooperative learning, where there are shared experiences among peers and appropriate emotional development.
1. All Montessori classes operate on the principle of freedom with limits.

2. Each level has its own established rules, according to the age and needs of the students, based on the Montessori values of respect for oneself, others and the environment.

3. The children work at their own pace with the materials, according to their needs and educational project.

4. In the same group, children of different ages and educational levels coexist, which allows the child to develop naturally in an environment where respect for differences reigns.

5. The older children share what they have learned and at the same time reinforce their own learning. On the other hand, this interaction generates experiences around language and conversations that enrich each other.
